Quick hit this evening - Little bit of morning painting time over the past week, and got the Kataphron Breachers up to the pre-transfers-and-weathering stage.
I really enjoyed building and painting these models - definitely dig the 'heavy battle servitor' vibe, and the kit is chock full of cool leftover bits for future conversions. Next up on the block is the Dunecrawler, should be fun!
These guys look shiny and fresh of the assembly line, they look great! I can't wait to see em with the weathering in place.
ReplyDeleteVery nice!
ReplyDeletePersonally I prefer the design of the destroyers to the breachers but your colour scheme really sells them to me!
You really have a knack for choosing interesting colour schemes with often unusual contrasting yet very complimentary colours.
That rotting skin on the heads is an especially cool touch.
Very cool. Another great job dude :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome looking models! I'd love to think of a unit to proxy these as for my 30K Mechanicum...
ReplyDeleteThey do look good.
ReplyDeleteVery nice, love the colors!
ReplyDelete@CJ Kilbride: Very soon! Just a couple more units, then they're all gonna get the transfers and weathering at the same time.
ReplyDelete@Frothing Muppet: Aye - definitely going to be finding a way to use 'em in the 30k side of things!
@Phil Morris: Thanks man! I like the destroyers too, but had to go with the bit ol' pneumatic claws. :)
@NafNaf: Thanks very much!
@The GunGrave: Indeed - I think they could act at stand-in Myrmidons/Destructors pretty easily!
@John Lambshead: Thanks very much, John!
@Jugger: Cheers bud!
Thanks very much, everyone!
These look great Mordian7th, love the Borg vibe they give, especially with those arms.
ReplyDelete@Siph_Horridus: Thanks very much, man!
ReplyDeleteVery cool. Your Admech scheme really works well on these models.
