Holy smokes is summer ever upon us here - Been sweltering hot of late which has made post-work painting a daunting procedure. Time to switch over to the summertime schedule and start getting up an hour earlier so I can paint in the cool of the morning!
That said, over the last few days I did manage to lay in all the gold trim and the ghostly green wings on the two assault squads. Halfway to the finish line now - next up is all the silver and bone!
Looking good!! Nice squads!
ReplyDeleteI do so love those wings.
ReplyDeleteLooking great these, I'm having the same problem when it comes to priming few days though so not that bad, Was thinking of an assault squad for my IW's and looking at yours may have tipped me over the edge.
ReplyDeleteGreat stuff.
Wow, getting up an hour early. . . . blimey, you are dedicated to the cause! ;0)
ReplyDelete@Grajo: Thanks, they're coming along nicely!
ReplyDelete@Rory Priest: Cheers! The ghostly green should help tie all the various models together.
@Jamie Farrar: I appreciate it! Some IW in the Mk.IV assault armour would look sweet!
@Riot: Hah! Does mean going to bed an hour early too, so it's not all bad. :)
Dehumidifier does wonders in the summer!!!
ReplyDeleteLovely, love the ethereal wings
ReplyDeleteI wish I could paint in the morning! My dexterity just isn't up to painting in the early morning. Kudos to you for doing it!
ReplyDeleteSaw your nova charity models at dave's house when I dropped off the knight. They look great! The force together looks spectacular.
@Greg Hess: Hah! With as arid as it is in CO, a dehumidifier would likely mummify me entirely! :)
ReplyDelete@Siph_Horridus: Thanks very much, man!
@John Stiening: I hear ya, it's a bit of a transition for me too, my eyes aren't awesome first thing in the morning. Really looking forward to seeing the army shot of all the mechanicum!
