DreadTober 2019 Week 4 - To Done!

Got all the little final detailing done on the Contemptor Achillus over the weekend, just in time to hit the finish line for DreadTober! Without further ado, some pics!




  


All in all a rather fun dreadnought to paint up, and has me rather excited to get back to the rest of the Custodes in the force as a change of pace from all the Necromunda going on behind the scenes. Reminds me, I gotta get all the pics from last session sorted out and posted...

    Looking fantastic Mordian! Love the dark greaves and the filigree. Nice glow on the Adrathic Destructors and a nice pose all round. Must get one myself, its the better performing of the two versions with the Dreadspear over the Shield/Blade combo.

    I think the Dreadtober last post should be 1st, as it looks like some will be using 31st as the final day ;)

      Cheers! I really do like the sword and board variant, but it does seem as though the Achillus is the way to go overall...

    Very nice, he looks an absolute beast of a model.
    I really like the use of the black to add some contrast to the model. It works so well to break up all that gold without it looking garish.
