Heresy Era Thousand Sons - Prospero Spireguard Stormhammer painting continues
Just a quick hit today - Starting to get concerned about the package from Victoria Lamb with the lion's share of the bits for the Geno Five-Two as it's been almost three weeks from the shipping notification and still no package. Hrm. Pressed onward with the Stormhammer in the meantime!
Nothing spectacular, just got the base metals on the weapons and tracks, and started blocking in the various panels that will be getting the bone-white treatment. So far, so good!

I suspect customs shenanigans -_- Needs more rivets!
ReplyDeleteI have subverted the VL order so you can devoted more time to that machine. Loving it man.
ReplyDeleteNo Dreadtober from you?
I love the separate las cannons on the side. That's just great!
ReplyDelete@Zab: Indeed, that's what I'm thinking as well. On the customs issue, not the rivets! Hah!
ReplyDelete@Rory Priest: I've been seeing a lot of Dreadtober posts, I have an Alpha Legion Contemptor that may need to be built and painted as a tester for the allied force to accompany the Geno Five-Two. Hmm...
@Greg Hess: It's definitely bristling with Lascannons, that's for sure! My favorite of the 40k/30k weapons, and I can mount seven of 'em on the beast? I'm sold!
Cheers everyone!
Great stuff as always Mordian7th. Btw, got the Ad Mech coolness mate, cheers!
ReplyDeleteSlowly slowly catchy Stormhammer. Or painty. take your pick.
ReplyDeleteHope that VL package comes through soon mate. Give her a msg too, she's usually really good about this stuff.
I ordered some arms from VL on 28 Aug and they hadn't arrived by 29 Sep so I dropped her a line and she just sent me replacements. Which is FW levels of customer service, n'est pas ? Anyway, the original arms rocked up three days after that and now the replacement ones are waiting at the post office for me to collect (She sent them recorded).
ReplyDeleteSo if you'd had the same unexpectedly slow post from Oz, it might be a hiccup in the Oz postal system or a very slow boat.
I hope your bits turn up soon.
